A Warm Welcome from South Street’s Principal
At South Street Primary School we pride ourselves on setting high expectations and welcome your contribution and involvement in creating a school environment that allows all students to excel and experience success in their learning and wellbeing. Centrally located in Moe, within the Latrobe Valley, Gippsland, Victoria, we have a proud history and strong reputation within the community. We currently enrol approximately 240 students who benefit from our dedicated team of experienced educators.
Our facilities
Our school offers modern learning spaces that have recently undergone significant investment and upgrades. With an indoor gymnasium, library, canteen, dedicated specialist classroom spaces, and vast playground and oval spaces, our students have access to the learning environments and facilities they need to succeed.
South Street Primary School prides itself on building strong relationships with our students and families to ensure students are connected to their school and local community.
Our partnership with the Moe Early Learning Centre, located adjacent to our school, provides excellent ongoing services for families from birth through to high school. We are also active participants in the Moe Southside Community User group, allowing for the shared use of recreational facilities at Ted Summerton Reserve.
At South Street Primary School we are committed to ensuring academic success and personal growth for all students.
Vision: Excellence in education to achieve personal growth and academic success.
Our vision is supported by our commitment to instil the strong values of Being Safe, Respectful Learners.
