About South Street PS
South Street Primary School takes pride in creating strong connections with our students and their families, ensuring they experience a sense of belonging within both their school and the local community.

School Programs
Our school offers a broad range of programs and experiences designed to support every child’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging.
Specialist Programs
Students participate in Visual Arts, Performing Arts and Music, Physical Education, and Digital Technologies and STEM. We also offer the South Street Basketball Academy for selected students.
Camps, Excursions and Swimming
Students enjoy camps, excursions, incursions, athletics, sporting events and cultural experiences. Free swimming lessons are provided annually for all Prep to Grade 2 students.
Wellbeing, Engagement and Transition
Our programs include Ready, Set, Roar transition, the Mane-tenance Crew hands-on learning program, We’re Happy You’re Here Days, and a variety of lunchtime activity clubs.
Breakfast Club and Canteen
Breakfast Club provides students with a positive start to the day, while our canteen offers Friday lunch orders and opportunities for family volunteers.
Student Leadership
Students are encouraged to develop their confidence and leadership skills through School Captain roles, assemblies, values awards and other school responsibilities.
